Hello, I'm Ajay Mohan, a product designer based in Bangalore, India. I specialize in creating intuitive digital experiences that bridge the gap between complex technology and human needs.

With over 8 years of experience in UX design, I've had the privilege of working across diverse industries - from enterprise SaaS and developer tools to consumer apps and AI-powered platforms. Currently, I'm leading product design at deployd.io, where I'm shaping the future of log management with Logrite.

Before deployd, I spent over two years at Zorp, where I led the entire design department and pioneered AI-first design approaches. I've also founded Zeon, an open-source platform for AI-powered customer support, which taught me invaluable lessons about designing for both users and developer communities.

I believe great design is invisible. It gets out of the way and lets people accomplish what they set out to do. My approach centers on understanding the real problems users face - not just their surface-level requests - and crafting solutions that feel natural and effortless.

I'm particularly passionate about designing for technical users and complex domains. There's a unique challenge in making powerful tools that don't sacrifice capability for simplicity. The best developer tools, enterprise software, and AI applications respect their users' expertise while removing unnecessary friction.

My journey into design started with web development, which gave me a deep appreciation for the constraints and possibilities of building for the web. This technical foundation continues to inform how I approach design - I think in systems, consider edge cases, and maintain close collaboration with engineering teams.

I studied Biomedical Sciences in Singapore and Scotland before pivoting to technology and design. I've worked with notable clients including Qatar Airways, Dubai Airport, and BlackRock. I've led design teams, shipped products used by thousands, and continuously push myself to stay at the forefront of design and technology.
